Obama’s Response To Christmas Day Terrorism Try

Napolitano & Gibbs come out Sunday and said “the system worked”. This was ‘spin’ at its worst, and I’m sure Axelrod and Rahm E. were also behind this effort to ‘shield’ this administration from any blame. Then Obama himself doesn’t respond to this terrorist try until three days after it happened. Obama had a more quick response to one of his house guests’ kid who was hurt = he left his golf game and hurried back to his compound right away = too bad the security of the USA doesn’t get at least an equal response time to a terrorist try.

Some people may finally be starting to understand what many of us have known since before the 2008 election. Obama has no relevent experience to deal with terrorism effectively, and he cannot make a timely decision. Yes, he mulls things over to get all the facts (sometimes) before he makes a statement, and then the statement is so watered down that it becomes meaningless, and many times encourages the terrorists. This happened in this case as he had to come out again the next day after his first statement to put a little ‘teeth’ into the issue. This still though wasn’t a strong enough response in my book.

What should he have done? Came out on Christmas day following this ‘incident’ and say ‘we are going after the terrorists and Imans in Yemen connected with this terrorist act and won’t rest until they are brought to justice’, and then actually do it! It could have been a great moment for him and effective in fighting this war on terror, but alas it was not to be. I fear the next time, we won’t be as lucky as we were this 2009 Christmas.

    Dan,
In today`s MSNBC/Fox News age people are getting “Opinion” and “News” Confused. MSNBC and Fox News have very little “News” it is mostly “info-tainment” and opinion. Please dont confuse KWRT, Robin or Myself with them, I take that as a insult. KWRT`s news is at the top of the page marked “Web News”. The message board is mostly “Opinion`s” of our listeners, not KWRT`s, our staff or Advertisers. KWRT news at the top of each hour is “News”! No opinion, sensationalism, Spin etc. Just the facts as reported!
Next time look at the end of the post, My name will be signed to it if it is my Opinion.

    Dan,

Glad we agree on the free speech aspect of this since that is among the many things that make this country the best on the planet. Thanks to you for the 20+ years of service to this country. I myself spent 6 years in the early 70′s actively defending her, and have and will spend the rest of my life trying to make her even better.

Sorry Squeak, I thought the stationed posted it. I am a supporter of free speech. I spent 20 years and 29 days defending it. I hope you can see why I would disagree with the posting if the station, Matt or Robin had posted it. Once again not disagreeing or supporting your thoughts.

    Dan,

My comment “Obama’s Response To Christmas Day Terrorism Try” was sent to KWRT via the message board, and was subsequently posted on the web. These are my personal comments and opinions in the original post and have absolutely nothing to do with KWRT’s news policy. You may want to stifle my opinion, but hopefully KWRT will not. It is still America, and freedom of speach is still a right I have as an American citizen.

This is not in accordance to the KWRT News Policy.
